Meadow Lark Sky

Lately I have been obsessed with skies and trying to paint them. Here is my most recent attempt. I loved this sky because no matter how dark and gloomy the clouds seem the light keeps bursting out every chance it gets! It seems to me that life is a lot like that. And I stuck a Meadow Lark in there because every year as winter starts to give way to spring, I listen for the song of the Meadow Lark. Once I hear that I know that winter has lost its hold on the earth and glorious Spring will take over soon! Meadow Larks bring back the promise of Spring and I love that!
